SUMMARY
The position requires an individual who can set up Stamping Presses used to manufacture metal components. In this role, the candidate will set a die in a stamping press, align the die and secure. Once installed, ensure correct material and feed material through the progressive die to produce a part. Adjustments may be required to the press as needed to obtain an acceptable part. Parts will then be checked to part drawings/quality inspection plans. Dies changeovers may, at times, require minor punch and button changes to obtain a different part configuration.
