This engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining secure cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines supporting Kubernetes-based applications. On a daily basis, they will develop and enhance Terraform/OpenTofu infrastructure modules, manage Kubernetes clusters, create and maintain Helm charts, and support automated CI/CD pipelines across development, test, staging, and production environments.
They will partner closely with software engineers, platform teams, and security teams to embed security controls into deployment workflows through automated scanning, policy enforcement, secrets management, and compliance controls. The role will also involve troubleshooting production issues, monitoring platform health through observability tools, debugging Kubernetes workloads, conducting root cause analysis following incidents, and continuously improving reliability, scalability, and security across the organization's cloud platforms.
