Development Contributions Planner

About the role

This position is responsible for developing and managing, Council’s new Infrastructure Contributions Planning Framework.

Primarily the position will:

Lead the review, preparation, and implementation of Council’s new development contributions plans (Section 7.11 and 7.12 plans and proposed stormwater plans under S.64 of LG Act) to ensure infrastructure delivery aligns with Council’s strategic planning objectives and legislative requirements under the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979.

Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., planning, finance, engineering), the Executive Leadership team and Councillors, and external stakeholders (e.g., developers, state agencies, community) to align infrastructure priorities and sequencing, to support integrated land use and infrastructure outcomes.
