Designer (fixed telecommunications network), multiple locations

Overview

As a designer, you will be responsible for the detailed planning and documentation of fixed telecommunications networks built for operators in the KeyCom system. The role involves office work with occasional field visits and requires a valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Plan and document fixed telecommunications networks.
• Perform terrain planning for excavation routes.
• Obtain placement permits and necessary statements for project execution.
• Define materials, create work maps, connection diagrams and cost estimates.
• Prepare network documentation.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders and visit sites as required.

Qualifications

• Suitable education in electrical, information or communication technology.
• Understanding and experience in similar planning tasks (experience in earthworks or terrain planning is an advantage).
