About the Role
We're supporting a major UK infrastructure programme and are looking for an experienced Design Manager to join a major Tier One Civil engineering contractor. The role manages remaining design scope exceeding £100m in value, liaising with the client and the Principal Designer, and certifying that works have been constructed in accordance with the design.
Suited to either a strong Project Manager with pre‑construction experience, or a Design‑led Project Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate all design disciplines on the project, managing design consultant communications, submissions and deliverables.
- Maintain and update the Design Management Programme (DMP) and design programme, tracking milestones and managing recovery where required.
