Deputy Manager - Mbf Proper (Mechanical)

Key Responsibilities

• Maintenance Management: Execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance schedules for the MBF to minimize downtime and ensure optimum equipment reliability.
• Equipment Monitoring: Oversee the performance of critical equipment, including the Blast Furnace shell, charging system, cast house equipment, conveyors, cooling water systems, pumps, and gearboxes.
• Shutdown Planning: Coordinate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute annual or planned shutdowns.
• Troubleshooting & RCA: Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on mechanical failures and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Team Leadership: Supervise engineers, technicians, and contract laborers. Assign daily tasks, and mentor personnel on maintenance best practices.
