This full‑time contract position, categorized under Corporate Administration, requires a deputy clerk who will support municipal statutory responsibilities and serve as the town’s lead resource for privacy and access to information. Candidates must apply by July 16, 2026 before 04:30.
Responsibilities
- Act as Town Clerk in their absence, including clerking meetings, managing corporate documents, handling legal filings, and attending Senior Leadership Team meetings.
- Serve as the designated lead for privacy and access to information under MFIPPA.
- Administer MFIPPA requests: intake, coordination, review, application of exemptions, fee estimation, and decision preparation.
- Advise departments on access requests, privacy obligations, records disclosure, and legislative compliance.
