At Regions, the Bank Operations Deposit Processing Specialist performs operational duties to support the processing of deposits including check processing, exception processing, and return item processing.
Primary Responsibilities
Performs maintenance on all accountsEnsures that all deposits are coded and processed correctlyCorrects and resolves any encoding errorsProcesses any return deposit itemsActs as first line of defense for fraud or suspicious transaction activities, including escalating any suspicious transactions or closing the accountKeeps up to date on all applicable government regulations and company policiesProvides guidance to less experienced team membersEnsures compliance with risk management programs, rules and regulations, and cybersecurity practices; identifies opportunities for and supports process improvements; applies disciplined change managemen...
