In this role, the mediator encourages and facilitates resolution of disputed issues by fostering joint problem solving, consensus building among parties and exploration of alternative settlements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities   Conducts court-based mediation in a confidential manner by assisting parties in communicating, understanding the perspectives and positions of one another, as well as the needs of the children in order to resolve disputes.
