About the Role
Based at Rainworth Distribution Unit, Southwell Road West, Rainworth, NG21 0HJ, you will be working approximately 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, around 4 hours per day. You will also work one weekend in every four, for 4 hours per day. You'll play a key role in delivering hot meals to vulnerable customers and carrying out essential Safe and Well checks to support their wellbeing.
Responsibilities
- Pick, pack and deliver meals on time and at safe temperatures
- Carry out Safe & Well checks and report any changes in customer wellbeing
- Ensure meals are accessible and suitable for consumption
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any defects
- Lock and unlock the distribution facility as part of the weekend rota
- Follow all vehicle operation and safety procedures
- Record and return any waste meals
- Distribute leaflets and assist with customer surveys when required
