Data Intern , India Worker Type: Interns (Fixed Term) (Trainee) Posting Start Date: July 7, 2026 Job Description: What’s the role Data Intern will support the U.S. Direct Tax team in building a structured and governed Tax Data Landscape across Federal and State processes. This role will focus on documenting ongoing tax data flows to prepare for advanced analytics and AI/GenAI applications, forming a critical part of Shell’s Digital Finance and Tax transformation agenda. What you’ll be doing Identify and document tax-relevant data sources across enterprise systems (SAP, tax tools, data platforms, Excel-based models). Document and develop Tax Data Inventory and review metadata repository. Map end-to-end data lineage and flows (ERP → adjustments → provision → filings).
