Role Overview - Data Centre Technician
As a Data Centre Technician, you will be part of a dedicated team, working under the guidance of a Site Manager and Project Manager. You will support the delivery of high-quality services in data centres, ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with agreed standards.
Key responsibilities
- Installation of data centre racks, security cages and fibre pathways
- Installation of cabling systems (fibre and copper)
- Installation (mounting) of Wi‑Fi systems
- Installation work related to hot and cold aisle containment systems
- Installation of IP surveillance camera systems
- Supporting the installation of active equipment
- Participation in data centre modification projects
- Managing adds, moves and changes (AMC) in the data centre environment
