*Data Center Fiber Technician*
*Overview:*
We are seeking Data Center Fiber Technicians to support network infrastructure work within a large-scale data center environment. This role is hands-on and focused on fiber installation support, equipment handling, and network configuration tasks while maintaining strict adherence to safety and quality standards. This position may require up to 50% travel throughout the Southeast United States to support regional project needs.
*Responsibilities:*
* Un-rack and remove decommissioned equipment
* Rack and stack new network and server equipment
* Install and remove fiber circuit jumpers to support network configuration changes
* Populate switch ports with optical transceivers
* Handle boxing, unboxing, and staging of network equipment
* Troubleshoot fiber optic circuits using standard testing tools
* Follow all site safety protocols and maintain clean work areas
