Responsibilities
- Evaluate vehicle damage and review repair estimates using photos and industry-standard software
- Negotiate fair claim settlements with repair facilities and third-party claimants
- Confirm coverage and liability for assigned losses and manage supplemental damage claims
- Complete Actual Cash Value (ACV) evaluations for total loss vehicles
- Maintain proactive communication with customers, repair facilities, and agents
- Provide technical training and mentoring to claims professionals
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5+ years of related claims handling, collision repair, or auto estimating experience
- Strong working knowledge of CCC estimating software
- Proven experience handling complex and high-value auto damage claims
- Ability to obtain and maintain required state adjuster licenses within six months
