Job Description
You are a Welder with fabrication experience looking for a long‑term opportunity close to home. You will be working in a Heavy Equipment Maintenance facility supporting Heavy Duty Mechanics repairing various mobile equipment. You have a safety mindset and take pride in your work.
Essential Responsibilities
- Read and follow directions in given layouts, blueprints, and work orders
- Welds parts, and may also build up worn parts by welding layers of high‑strength hard‑metal alloys onto them
- Assist in preparing parts to be welded, which may include cutting, punching, drilling, and bending of material
- Use and operate the welding equipment to fabricate and customize products
- Operate flame‑cutting equipment
- General welder’s helper duties such as grinding, buffing and weld set up
