A Kansas City, MO hospital with 585+ beds, a Level I Trauma Center, a Primary Stroke Center, and a Chest Pain Center is seeking an experienced CVOR Surgical Technologist III for its cardiovascular operating room team.
The role. The Surgical Technologist III works alongside the OR team to deliver hands-on support throughout cardiovascular and endovascular/hybrid operating room procedures. In the first scrub role, this technologist manages the instruments, supplies, and equipment required during surgery, maintains the sterile field, and anticipates the surgeon's needs throughout the operative procedure. When serving in the second scrub role, responsibilities include sponging, suctioning, cutting suture, holding retractors, and manipulating the endoscopic camera to assist the surgeon and surgical assistant.
