Job Description
Credit Valley Conservation seeks an Assistant Lead Hand to enhance property management efforts. You will support maintenance operations, oversee staff, and operate tools throughout Ontario's Conservation Areas.
In this full-time role, you will report to the Superintendent and play a vital role in maintaining trails, buildings, and facilities. This position requires a proactive individual who can work outdoors under varying weather conditions, while effectively communicating and managing staff for successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform year-round maintenance of CVC properties
• Direct hourly staff and ensure task completion
• Operate tools and machinery for various maintenance projects
• Conduct inspections and support risk management efforts
• Assist with community events and volunteer opportunities
Requirements:
• High School Diploma and relevant experience
• One year in park and facility maintenance roles
