About the Division of Driver Licensing
The client is a public‑facing organization that directly impacts citizens and travelers every day through driver licensing and credentialing services. Operations span statewide service locations and support functions related to driver licensing, record maintenance, and highway safety. The organization works closely with officials at multiple levels to deliver high‑quality services to citizens, businesses, and government partners, with a continuous focus on improvement.
The client is responsible for issuing driver’s licenses, maintaining driver records, and managing driver safety programs. The division works collaboratively with other state agencies, partner states, and federal agencies. In response to federally mandated REAL ID requirements enacted by the Department of Homeland Security, the organization has implemented new rules for credential issuance and record keeping.
