With limited supervision, from the Supervisor Custodial Services and the Custodian III provides a wide range of cleaning and custodial duties on college buildings. Performs specific routine custodian tasks as directed and assigned.TYPICAL DUTIES
Performs the duties of a Custodian I and in addition:
• Strips, applies and maintains floor finishes;
• Removes spots and extracts carpets and upholstery;
• Uses a variety of chemicals specific to project work in accordance with established training;
• Carries out routine maintenance on custodial equipment;
• Monitors and reports unsafe conditions or situations;
• Arms/disarms building security systems;
