Custodial Worker

Summary About the Position: This position is located in the Southeast Region of the Department of Defense Education Activity. This region encompasses for school districts in the Southeast portion of the United States. This is an open and continuous announcement, the first cutoff will be 11/17/2025, subsequent lists will be pulled approximately every 3 weeks and/or as needed. Responsibilities Disinfects restrooms to include urinals, toilet bowls, and sinks. Dusts, waxes, and/or polishes furniture and fixtures. Empties waste baskets. Occasionally works on ladders/scaffolds to clean. Sets up and tears down for special events or assemblies. Sweeps, mops, strips, scrubs, waxes and/or polishes floors using brooms, industrial-type floor scrubbers and other heavy powered cleaning equipment. Opens and closes school following all security procedures.
