Shape the future of the Gwich’in language in Inuvik by becoming the Curriculum Coordinator. This full-time position is key in creating and refining educational resources for language learners.
In this important role within the Language Revitalization department, you will oversee the creation and assessment of Gwich’in language curricula. Engaging with community members, educators, and leaders, you’ll ensure that the curriculum is responsive to the needs of both learners and the Gwich’in Tribal Council. Your work will promote the growth of language programs and support the immersion curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop strategies and guides for Gwich’in language education
• Collaborate with elders and educators on curriculum
