Position Summary
Under the direction and supervision of the School Principal, and in collaboration with the classroom teacher, the Supply Designated Early Childhood Educator (DECE) supports the planning and implementation of the Kindergarten Curriculum to facilitate experiences that promote each child's physical, cognitive, language, emotional, social and creative development and wellbeing.

Major Responsibilities

• Engage children through play based, age appropriate activities e.g. telling or reading stories, singing songs and demonstrating the use of simple musical instruments.
• Prepare classroom materials as well as provide the opportunities for creative expression through media of art, dramatic play, music and physical fitness.
