Job Description
Become the Main Cook for the Conklin Métis Culture Camp, running from August 6-10, 2026. Oversee meal preparations and manage the kitchen for a culturally rich event.
The Conklin Resource Development Advisory Committee (CRDAC) is hiring a Main Cook to facilitate meal service at the annual Culture Camp held at Wassasi Park. This temporary position will require you to plan menus, prepare dishes, and ensure a clean working environment. You will also lead and coordinate team efforts with volunteers throughout the event.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and tailor menus for camp participants
• Prepare and serve meals during the event
• Manage cleanliness of kitchen area and equipment
• Coordinate volunteer efforts in food preparation and cleanup
• Adhere to food safety guidelines rigorously
