Job Description
POSITION PURPOSE To provide diagnostic imaging services to patients using various imaging modalities, ensuring accurate image acquisition, patient safety, and optimal patient care. Prioritize patient education, explaining procedures, equipment, and optimal patient care. Position-Specific Performance Expectations, Duties, and Responsibilities: • Demonstrates advanced knowledge in radiographic procedures, including, but not limited to X-ray and Fluoroscopy, with C-arm, and OR work. • Performs all exams based on Imaging Department Protocols or protocols the exam with the Radiologist. • Practices radiation safety, adhering to ALARA standards. • Ability to operate equipment consistent with manufacturer's recommendations. • Troubleshoots equipment problems and independently calls a service engineer if the malfunction needs outside maintenance. • Verifies exam orders, identifies the patient through two means of identification, and provides exam education. • Reviews and documents the patien...
