Overview
This is an interview position.
Responsibilities
Transport freight to and from stations and hub facilities, and/or pickup and delivery of large skidded freight and multiple‑piece skidded shipments in a safe and responsible manner with a sense of urgency. Also includes the regular operation of power material handling equipment for proper loading, weight balancing, and sequencing of unit loading devices.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- High school diploma
- Twelve (12) months heavy vehicle driving experience (preferred)
- Class AZ (Class 1) driver’s license with a good driving record (required)
- Air brake certification (required)
- Class 1 in the Province of Quebec (includes air brake certification)
- Certification and current status in dangerous goods handling, operation of material handling equipment, ULD inspection to test FAA airworthiness, and t‑stacking
