CT Technologist

Position Summary: The CT Technologist (CTT) will perform complex specialized tasks associated with the operation of CT scanners and related equipment in accordance with prescribed radiation safety procedures.

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent required

CT Technologist through one of two ways required: Completion of a 24-month AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology plus completion of an accredited CT program or; Completion of a 24-month AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology plus on-the-job training in CT with 3 years of continued proven competence.

Experience

Previous CT experience in a hospital setting strongly preferred.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

Registered in Radiology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.
