This full-time role entails responding to various crisis situations, providing immediate stabilization and support. You'll work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure affected individuals are directed toward appropriate ongoing services, avoiding long-term case management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Respond to urgent community crisis events
• Provide immediate and respectful in-person support
• Observe and assess safety issues during crises
• Support communication during emergency situations
• Facilitate connections to subsequent services
Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years in crisis intervention or mental health settings
• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or related area
