Fraser Health seeks a Casual Clinician for its Short Term Assessment and Response Team in Abbotsford, B.C. Focus on adolescent mental health through effective counseling and resource coordination.
In this role, you will provide critical assessments, treatment recommendations, and short-term therapy for youth and families in crisis. Collaborate with community services while participating in program development and educational training. Your background in crisis intervention will be vital to supporting clients and families effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess social, emotional, and cultural needs of clients
• Facilitate psychiatric evaluations with community psychiatrists
• Provide short-term therapy using various intervention methods
• Liaise with community resources and act as case manager
• Assist in educational sessions for staff and clients
Requirements:
• Master's Degree in social or health sciences
