Job Description
Minimum Requirements
- Matric or relevant NQF 4 qualification
- 2-4 years experience in a Credit Controller position
- Valid drivers licence and own transport
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively resolve conflicts and problems
- Strong attention to detail
- Fluent in English
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Open new debtor’s accounts within 7 days of obtaining:
- Bank Codes
- Credit References
- ITC Report
- Obtain Financial Manager’s sign off re approved terms prior to opening new account
- Communicate the agreed terms to the relevant contact person in a timely manner
- Continuous maintenance of Debtor’s master files, namely contact details, VAT number, address, company information, change of ownership, etc
