COVER SUPERVISOR

Garforth Academy is recruiting a Cover Supervisor on a permanent part‑time basis.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupil learning during cover periods.
• Respond to students’ questions and assist them with set activities.
• Uphold classroom behaviour standards.
• Collaborate with teaching and classroom staff to provide general support to departments.

Requirements

• Permanent part‑time commitment of approximately 14 hours per week, 38 weeks plus 2 term‑time days.
• ICT literate and competent in using various software packages.
• Ability to provide supervision and support in a high‑performing academy setting.
