Counselor II

Employees in this position perform duties related to the care, treatment, and rehabilitation of program clients. Employees in this position are aware of available community resources, they make appropriate referrals to same, and they function as a member of a treatment team. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Assesses clients referred for substance abuse and mental health services for the purposes of treatment plan development. Participates in family counseling sessions as a co-facilitator with direct supervision by a Counselor III or Clinical/Program Supervisor.
