A well-established national law firm is seeking a Costs Solicitor / Draftsperson to join its respected Costs & Advocacy team in Birmingham. The department handles a wide range of commercial and personal injury litigation costs matters, from fixed recoverable costs and lower value disputes through to complex, high value cases.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Costs Solicitor / Draftsperson looking to take the next step into a varied role combining technical drafting, negotiation and advocacy in Birmingham.

The Role

• Handle costs files from instruction through to resolution
• Draft and review Costs Budgets, Bills of Costs, Points of Dispute and Replies
• Advise on budgeting, recovery, reserving and dispute strategy
• Attend CCMCs and application hearings
• Provide advocacy where required
