Cost Engineer - Electronics Hardware

Cost Engineering Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics / Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering or related discipline. • 8 to 15 years of experience in Should Costing and Value Engineering for electronics hardware. • Exposure to automotive, Avionics, industrial, consumer, networking, or IoT electronics. • Strong understanding of hardware products & design (schematics, BOMs, component selection). • Knowledge of regulatory and quality requirements impacting PCBA cost (IPC, ISO, automotive standards). • Demonstrated track record of achieving measurable cost savings through engineering and sourcing strategies. • Excellent analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills. • Familiarity working on costing tools, Hand calculations etc..
