We are hiring: Project Cost Engineer – Body Systems (Automotive) We are seeking to identify three Project Cost Engineers to join the Body team supporting a leading global OEM. This role focuses on cost estimation, analysis, and optimization across key body and exterior vehicle systems. Technical Scope Exterior (fascia, spoiler) Body in White (BIW) Lighting and/or Sealing, Glazing, Mechanisms Key Responsibilities (Costing & Estimation) Develop detailed should-cost models for body and exterior components and assemblies Perform bottom-up cost analysis including materials, labor, overhead, scrap, tooling, and logistics Analyze manufacturing processes such as stamping, welding, painting, plastic injection molding, extrusion, and assembly to identify cost drivers Conduct supplier quotation analysis (RFQ) and validate pricing against technical assumptions Build and maintain cost databases and parametric cost models Support design-to-cost (DTC) and value analysis/value engineering (VA/VE) init...
