Overview:The Safety and Health Coordinator is responsible for engaging employees in creating a positive safety work culture while implementing the company safety programs and ensuring compliance with local, state and federal regulations that pertain to Safety & Health. This position is an extension of the Safety Manager on the 2nd and 3rd shifts.
Job Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
+ Track and enforce the safety training requirements for 2nd and 3rd shift
+ Conduct department audits while engaging employees in safety requirements and promotions
+ Perform job task in all departments periodically to analyze JSAs and safety indicators
+ Perform root cause analysis for incident investigations to develop meaningful corrective actions that will provide long term mitigation results
