Job Description
Strengthen occupational health at Elk Valley Resources as a Coordinator for the Health and Safety Program at Fording River Operations. This role will manage exposure reduction strategies and ensure compliance.
You will report to the Lead Occupational Hygienist and oversee multiple aspects of occupational hygiene. Responsibilities include conducting hazard assessments, managing sampling equipment, and implementing exposure controls. Your role will also involve mentoring employees and maintaining relationships with relevant regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with health standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct workplace hazard assessments for health risks
• Manage occupational hygiene sampling and inventories
• Facilitate respiratory fit testing and ergonomic assessments
