Cook ISH Dining Services

Position Overview:

• Preparing and cooking meals according to recipe and menu requirements
• Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment
• Assisting with tray service and plating of meals
• Ensuring that all food is served promptly and to the residents' satisfaction
• Collaborating with dietary team to plan and prepare special diets and meals
• Maintaining accurate records of food preparation and inventory

Cook Requirements:
• Prior experience as a Nursing Home Cook or in a similar role preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and instructions
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift, push, and pull food carts and supplies (up to 50 pounds)
