Job Responsibilities
- Develop and prepare menus that meet nutritional and dietary requirements while respecting cultural and religious preferences.
- Cook and plate meals to high quality, wholesome and attractive standards for residents.
- Arrange and present food trolley to stimulate appetite and enthusiasm.
- Act as the pivotal link between the kitchen and serving areas, ensuring smooth service.
- Coach, motivate and delegate tasks to kitchen staff, fostering personal development.
- Maintain food hygiene, safety and best practice standards.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- City & Guilds 706 1&2, or equivalent (achieved or working towards)
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
