DEPARTMENT: ENGINEERING
PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To supervise and assist the team in the safe execution of all conveyor maintenance activities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Grade 12 or NQF 4 equivalent is essential.
Recognised relevant Trade Qualification (Section 13/26D) OR proof of recognised completed apprenticeship contract (completed by means of effluxion of time) AND NTC 2/ (Recognised Trade Theory) Qualification is essential
Conveyor Modules is essential.
Minimum 3 years' experience as an artisan is essential.
Minimum 1-year experience in a Conveyor environment is essential.
COMPETENCIES:
Demonstrate knowledge pertaining to basic health and safety principles in the workplace.
Demonstrate knowledge of Conveyor Principles and components
Demonstrate knowledge of Belt Splicing techniques
