As a Conventional Miner, you will be integral to maintaining safety and stability in underground operations. With a rotation of 7-7 and a shift length of 10.5 hours, your experience will involve drilling operations, scaling, and installing essential mine services. You will work closely with Shift Supervisors to ensure compliance with safety standards while managing various mining tools and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify unsafe conditions in the underground environment
• Drill holes using hand-held pneumatic drills
• Scale back walls for safe working areas
• Install mine services using lifting equipment
• Operate large mobile equipment like scoop trams
