We are seeking a Controls Engineer to design, develop, and support control systems for custom industrial equipment and automation projects. This engineer will focus on PLC programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
+ Travel: 30%
+ Primarily all in the Midwest
+ 2 weeks overnight max at a time
+ Expenses covered + $60/day per diem
Responsibilities
+ Design, program, and modify PLC-based control systems, primarily using Allen-Bradley.
+ Develop and support HMIs, electrical controls, and automation systems.
+ Travel to support installation, commissioning, and startup activities.
+ Troubleshoot system issues and implement real-time improvements.
+ Collaborate with mechanical engineers, technicians, and customers to ensure optimal system performance.
+ Provide on-site and remote support throughout the project lifecycle.
