Job Title: Electrical & Controls Technician

Location: Melton Mowbray

Compensation: £54,700 - £59,100 (DOE), shift allowance, £5,000 welcome bonus, 8% performance bonus, exceptional benefits.

Overview

Melton is at the forefront of high‑speed food processing innovation. We are seeking an Electrical & Controls Technician to maintain and improve complex processing equipment, working with advanced robotics, PLCs and predictive maintenance tools.

Shift Pattern

• 12‑hour shifts – two days (7 am‑7 pm) and two nights (7 pm‑7 am)
• Repeat cycle

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, test and modify automated and electromechanical equipment.
• Apply engineering principles to resolve production issues and enhance reliability.
• Develop, track and communicate maintenance metrics to reduce recurring equipment problems.
