Job Description
We are hiring a Controller to temporarily fill a maternity leave in Halifax. This role requires a proactive manager skilled in all aspects of financial operations.
The position is expected to last roughly 14 months, from August 4, 2026, to September 30, 2027. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, a CPA designation, and 3-5 years of relevant experience. This role will manage full cycle accounting, ensuring timely reporting and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage all aspects of accounting including invoicing and payroll
• Create detailed monthly performance reports for analysis
• Prepare budgets and forecasts, analyzing deviations
• Plan to manage cash and bridge foreseeable issues
• Review tax-related documentation and ensure accuracy
