Job Description
Seek a rewarding engineering role with Brainhunter as an Electrical Design Engineer in Pickering, Ontario. This one-year contract demands expertise in electrical power distribution and modification analysis.
The successful candidate will collaborate with Ontario Power Generation, overseeing design and field engineering tasks within the nuclear sector. Required qualifications include a degree in electrical engineering, an Ontario P.Eng. license, and previous OPG Design Engineer experience. A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience is also anticipated.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide mentorship and technical support to junior engineers
• Analyze and design electrical power distribution systems
• Oversee design modifications according to OPG procedures
• Conduct on-site engineering support for alterations
• Ensure designs comply with nuclear regulatory standards
