Job Description
Summer Writing Contract: Digital Safety Learning Resource Development – Ontario
The Simcoe County District School Board (SCDSB) seeks expressions of interest from current OSSTF teachers for two 40‑hour positions on the Digital Safety Learning Resource Development Team. The role involves developing resources to be completed virtually or in‑person at the Education Centre, establishing a foundation for digital safety instruction across elementary and secondary classrooms.
Rate of pay is $51.95 per hour, with 40 hours of development time per position. The contract is completed by August 7, 2026.
Key Competencies
- Knowledge of the SCDSB Digital Safety and Citizenship classroom resources, approved third‑party applications, and SCDSB AI guiding documents;
- Knowledge of School Mental Health Resources (Introduction to MHLIT, Wayfinder scope and sequence of Mental Health Literacy);
