Job Description
Responsibilities
- Unload containers according to purchase order specifications.
- Lift boxes weighing 1–50 pounds repeatedly during the shift.
- Segregate boxes by item number.
- Interlock cases on pallets and secure with tape or shrink wrap.
- Identify and report quantity variances and damages to the Receiver associate.
- Perform various warehouse duties as directed by the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety and complies with Ontario Safety and Health Act (OSHA) and WHMIS standards.
- Capable of standing, walking, climbing stairs, and regularly lifting heavy objects throughout the shift.
- Comfortable working in a noisy, fast‑paced environment and in hot or cold weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail, self‑motivated, and a team player.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor and follow directions.
