We are looking for a Consultant Gastroenterology physician to provide specialist care and teaching across our sites.
Main duties of the job
- Provide specialist gastroenterology clinical services at Royal Lancaster Infirmary and other sites, including cross‑Bay GI bleed cover and endoscopy sessions/clinics.
- Participate in a 7‑day bleeding service with a 1‑in‑8 GI bleed rota, including weekend 24/7 bleed service on call.
- Contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate education in partnership with Lancaster Medical School and Health Education England North West.
