This position oversees all aspects of a construction project, ensuring it is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality and safety standards. The role involves managing the construction crew and subcontractors on industrial building projects with the general contractor.
Responsibilities
+ Oversee the project schedule, budget, material ordering, and subcontractor management.
+ Ensure compliance with safety and OSHA standards.
+ Submit RFIs for design questions to the internal design team, architect, or engineer.
+ Log construction progress and submit daily/weekly reports to the project manager and client.
+ Assist with change requests and change orders.
+ Read blueprints, schematics, designs, and drawings, and assist subcontractors with any necessary questions, changes, and scheduling issues.
