Concrete Civil Superintendent - Aecon Group Inc. (Calgary)

Job Summary

Reporting to the Construction Manager, the Civil Superintendent is responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on schedule, in compliance with the contracts and the job cost estimates and all the work is completed safely to acceptable standards of quality and workmanship. This is a site-based position supporting projects across Western Canada; the successful candidate must be willing and able to travel regularly for work.

Responsibilities

• Participate in bid review processes to verify estimated production, constructability, and quantities.
• Lead field execution of civil scopes with a strong emphasis on concrete works, earthworks, and underground utilities.
• Review and interpret shop drawings, IFC drawings, rebar drawings, and specifications to ensure work is executed accurately.
