Compressed Air Medical Technician

Perform Man‑Lock Attendant Duties for compressed air work in tunnel.

NOTE: Only people with experience in diving or hyperbaric medicine or with relevant experience with diving equipment or hyperbaric medicine equipment may apply.

• A man‑lock attendant shall be in attendance at a man‑lock in the worksite at all times when any person is in the man‑lock or in a working chamber to which the man‑lock affords direct or indirect access.
• Each man‑lock attendant station in a worksite shall be provided with a first‑aid box.
• It shall be the duty of the man‑lock attendant at the worksite where work in a compressed air environment is carried out to:
  • maintain a lock attendant's register;
  • carry out the compression and decompression of persons in a compressed air environment in accordance with the approved procedures.
